Halloween is fastly approaching, seeing many of us rushing to finish costumes, trying to grab that last bag of bulk candy, or just trying to figure out how to avoid it

-Buy inexpensive glow sticks to wear anywhere you go outside. This will ensure that you are visible to cars and excited children.
-Buy LED candles for your pumpkins instead of risking the flame.
-Turn your outside light off if you don’t want to participate in trick-or-treating. This is a standard way of saying you aren’t home or don’t have candy.
-Be sure to get your dry ice to create the perfect apple cider witch’s brew. Pumpkins cut open with various foods stuffed inside of them.

-Forgo bobbing for apples this year and instead let everyone make their own personal stuffed apple dessert. Simplyrecipes.com has an excellent baked apple recipe that can be found here: https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/baked_apples/
-Give out tricks as well as treats to reduce the candy haul for trick or treaters. Go to a local discount store and buy fun party favors like erasers, stickers, etc to give out.
-Get last-minute, homemade costume ideas from the many resources available online. Sometimes the things we need to make that perfect costume are easily available to us with a little creativity.
